In Cuba, several currencies and financial channels coexist: the CUP (Cuban Peso) for official expenses, MLC for foreign-currency stores, and USD in cash, still the reference currency in the informal market. What currency is the cash delivered in?
We deliver USD in cash, which is the most useful currency within the current dynamics of the Cuban market. The recipient can exchange it in the informal market or keep it as a store of value. Cuban pesos (CUP) are rapidly losing purchasing power, while the USD remains stable.
How long does delivery take?
In Havana, delivery takes 24–48 hours, Monday to Saturday. In the rest of the provinces, the usual timeframe is 4 to 7 business days, since we coordinate logistics with local couriers in each area.
What does the recipient need to receive the money?
Just their Cuban ID card and a working contact phone number. Our courier gets in touch beforehand to agree on a time and confirm the exact address before heading out.
